Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions clients ask before hiring Olyvz — pricing and retainers, the free 24-hour audit, timelines, GEO, contracts, and what to start with.
Questions we hear a lot
There's no flat price, because a single SEO retainer and a full multi-channel growth build aren't the same job. Olyvz works two ways: fixed-scope project fees for defined deliverables (a website, a brand identity, an automation build) and monthly retainers for ongoing work like SEO/GEO, paid media, content, and social. Retainers are tiered by scope, channel count, and how fast you want to move. You'll get a specific price range in your free audit — before any commitment — so there are no surprise numbers later.
It's a genuine review, not a disguised pitch deck. Within 24 hours of your intake, we assess how your business currently shows up — in Google, in AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, and against competitors — flag your biggest bottlenecks (traffic, conversion, or operational drag), and hand you a prioritized roadmap. The catch: there isn't one beyond the obvious. We hope the roadmap is good enough that you want us to execute it, but you're free to take it and run it in-house.
GEO — Generative Engine Optimization — means structuring your content, data, and reputation so AI answer engines cite your brand as the answer, not just rank you as a link. It matters because Gartner projects traditional search volume will fall 25% by 2026 as buyers shift to AI chatbots (Gartner, 2024). Do you need it yet? If you're pre-revenue or a purely local walk-in business, probably not urgently, and the basics — clear FAQs, structured content, consistent business info — you can do yourself. If AI-using buyers are already researching your category, invest now.
It depends on the lever. Paid media and automation can show measurable change in weeks. SEO and GEO are compounding investments — expect early signals (impressions, AI citations, rankings) in 60–90 days and meaningful traffic and lead movement around months four to six. Anyone promising first-page dominance in two weeks is selling you something. In our own client work we've turned a manual sales process into an automated one in about 90 days; search and content authority take longer to build but last far longer too.
No indefinite lock-in. Project work is fixed-scope — you pay for a defined deliverable and you're done. Retainers typically start with a short initial commitment (around 90 days) because SEO, GEO, and systems work need runway to produce results worth judging; after that they run month-to-month and are cancellable with 30 days' notice. We'd rather keep clients because the results are obvious than because a contract traps them.
That's exactly what the audit decides, but the honest default is: fix the foundation before amplifying it. Pouring ad budget onto a site that doesn't convert, or chasing rankings with no analytics in place, wastes money. For most clients the base layer is a fast, conversion-ready site plus SEO/GEO visibility and proper tracking; paid media, content, and social scale on top once the engine actually converts. We sequence it so each investment makes the next one work harder.
Small and mid-sized businesses and startups are our core clients — specifically ones ready to professionalize their systems and scale their digital footprint. We're a strong fit if you want a growth engine built and run properly. We're an honest mismatch if you just need a single cheap logo with no interest in the strategy around it, or you expect guaranteed overnight results. In that case we'll tell you upfront rather than take the project.
You get reporting you can actually read — not a wall of vanity metrics. Every engagement is tied to specific KPIs agreed up front (qualified leads, relevant traffic, AI citation share, pipeline, automation hours saved), with real-time dashboards and a plain-language summary of what we did, what it moved, and what's next. If a channel underperforms, you'll hear it from us first. Being data-obsessed and transparent is the whole point; you should never have to guess what your agency is doing.
Yes to all three. Olyvz is headquartered in New Cairo, Egypt, and delivers to clients across the US, Europe, and the Gulf — all work is in English. Our working week is Sunday to Thursday, and we overlap with most time zones for live calls, with async updates covering the rest. Being MENA-based keeps senior, full-stack talent on your account at a rate that's hard to match in Western markets, without offshoring your strategy to juniors.
No — and be cautious of any agency that does. Nobody controls Google's or an AI engine's algorithm, so guaranteeing a specific ranking or lead count would be dishonest. What we do commit to is the process: a clear strategy, disciplined execution, transparent reporting, and agreed KPI targets we're accountable to. GEO does have proven levers — a Princeton study found adding statistics, citations, and quotations lifted AI-answer visibility by up to 40% (Aggarwal et al., 2024) — but levers are evidence, not promises.
Most agencies sell you the marketing and stop at the hype. Olyvz builds the engine underneath it too. Under one roof we combine creative and content, performance marketing, and the deep-tech side — CRM/ERP, process automation, and custom analytics — so the growth we generate doesn't break your operations. Eleven services across three pillars (Digital Growth, Creative Studio, and Transformation & Automation) means one accountable partner instead of stitching five vendors together.
Either way. We often act as the full growth team for companies that don't have one, and just as often plug into an existing in-house marketer to cover the gaps — usually the technical build, SEO/GEO, or automation they don't have specialists for. We're not precious about ownership; the audit will be honest about what you genuinely need us for versus what your own team can already handle well.
Yes, and we usually recommend it. You don't have to switch on everything at once — many clients start with one high-leverage piece (a converting site, an SEO/GEO foundation, or a single automation) so you can judge the working relationship on real output before scaling. The audit gives you the full roadmap; you decide how much of it to activate, and when.
